A return to Port Huron Thursday for Dr. Bill Hossler. The former pastor of Colonial Woods Missionary Church was the guest speaker at a National Day of Prayer event held at McMorran Place. The Mayor’s Prayer breakfast gathering of local church and political leaders has been held since James Relken headed up the city. Current Mayor Pauline Repp notes the meeting also celebrates political, business, and religious cooperation within the city. Dr. Hossler is not only remembered for his several years at Colonial Woods but also for having started up a popular radio program in Port Huron called The Keys to Confident Living. It is now broadcast internationally and across the U.S. to about 200-stations.
