A busy day in Port Huron Wednesday for Michigan’s Attorney General Bill Schuette. He spoke at a trio of events including in the morning a reading event to students at Woodrow Wilson. Shuette was in town back in 2014 with a visit to Holland Woods where the statewide ok-to-say program was introduced to the student body. He says the call for help program continues to grow across the state. Wednesday also saw him as the guest speaker at a Chamber of Commerce Luncheon and a Republican Party event. Despite being recently named as a possible candidate for Governor, Shuette made no commitments, making it clear we need to get through the 2016 Presidential election cycle before looking that far ahead. Schuette is a former U.S. Congressman who also served as a state senator, judge, and state ag director.
