More than just a few good books written by the guest at Town Hall Monday. Jennifer Weiner gave the audience at McMorran Place a taste of just how she got into the business, writing such stories as “Good In Bed”, “In Her Shoes”, and “Best Friends Forever”…..and as it turns out the audience included some of her own family members since many hail from the Detroit area. Weiner started out in journalism and began writing a novel….based in part on her own experiences, when she was 28. Wrapping up the Town Hall series for this season next month is trial consultant Dr. Jo-Ellan Dimitrius. A new Town Hall line-up was announced Monday as well with Shannon Miller (pictured) of Olympic medal fame appearing in October.
