Several reports have the Detroit Tigers signing free agent pitcher Jordan Zimmermann to a five year deal worth $110 million, pending a physical. Zimmermann, 29, has pitched his entire career with Washington. He is a two time National League All Star and has won 12 or more games in each of the last four seasons, including 19 in 2013. During that stretch he has also averaged 200 innings pitched a season. Zimmerman has a career record of 70-50 with an ERA of 3.32. For signing him the Tigers would give up their second pick in the draft next summer.
