Macomb County Jail was the scene of a rally on Saturday, held to protest the death of 32 year old David Stojcevski, who died June 27th, 2014 while in-custody. In-cell footage show that Stojcevski suffered a painful death over a 16 day period in the jail's mental ward. Stojcevski was serving a 30 day sentence for a careless driving ticket. In response to the rally Sheriff Anthony Wickersham says "The hardworking employees of the Sheriff's Office continue to extend their condolences to the family and friends of David Stojcevski. The FBI is currently reviewing the case.
