Matt Boyd made his Tiger debut on Wednesday night, and scattered seven hits over seven innings in a 2-1 victory for Detroit over Kansas City. The win was the first in Boyd's career. Anthony Gose and Victor Martinez drove in runs for the Tigers, who wrap up a three game series with the Royals on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.
