The Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County has announced that CEO Dan Casey is stepping down after 15 years with the organization.
Casey says his last day will be September 1st, with the EDA Board accepting his retirement earlier this week.
He joined the organization in 2011 and during his tenure, the EDA was involved in a number of high-profile development projects including bringing the Magna Electric Vehicle Solutions project to the long-vacant St. Clair Industrial Park, along with ongoing work with small businesses across the county.
Taking over the position this fall will be current Vice President of Business Development Bruce Seymore II, a Fort Gratiot resident who has spent 16 years with the EDA.
