Ecorse man’s body recovered from St. Clair River

Authorities releasing more details about a man found dead in the St. Clair River this past weekend. Port Huron Police say the 36-year-old man pulled from the water near Desmond Landing Saturday is from Ecorse, Michigan. Detectives believe the man was not a victim of foul play.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Fishermen over the weekend discovered a body in the St. Clair River. According to Port Huron Police, the discovery was made around 6pm Saturday. The Port Huron Fire Department and the St. Clair County Dive Team responded to an area near Desmond Landing and pulled the 36 year old’s body from the water. Right now, it’s not clear how he ended up out there, but the investigation is still ongoing. A name has not been released yet, police are still notifying the next of kin.
