Update: The issue has been resolved
The St. Clair County Office of Emergency Management says an issue with the 911 system is affecting some mobile phone users. According to central dispatch they can receive landline phone calls and text messages from cell phones, but voice calls from cell phones are intermittent. The issue is believed to be statewide and there is no restoration time available. Additionally, central dispatch can be contacted by their non emergency number at 985-8115.
