The longest serving current trustee of St. Clair County Community College has tendered his resignation.  After 14 years on the SC4 board, Dr. Nicholas DeGrazia announced late last week that he will be stepping down.

Just last month, incumbents Karen Niver and Bob Tansky were re-elected to additional 6 year terms. Newcomer Kim Brown was also elected to a term on the board, with her term beginning in January. Brown will take the seat of Randy Frenandez, who is scheduled to come off the board at the end of the year, after being appointed to fill a vacancy under similar circumstances in 2020.

The remaining board of trustees will meet at 4:30pm at the SC4 welcome center today to begin the process of filling DeGrazia’s seat.
