Council to set special election for sale of MOC

Port Huron City Council is expected to receive an update on a long anticipated Blue Water Bridge Plaza expansion project. During tonight’s city council meeting, representatives from the Michigan Department of Transportation are expected to be on hand to present the project to councilmembers and answer any questions they may have. Also tonight, council is expected to set a date for a special election to take place on May 2nd of 2023. They are expected to place the question of whether or not to sell the Municipal Office Center on the ballot. Mileage renewals for Parks and Recreation and Public Safety are also expected to be placed on that May ballot. City council will meet at 7pm tonight at the Municipal Office Center.
