Empty the shelters… that’s what St. Clair County Animal Control plans to do with the help of a grant from the Bissell Pet Foundation. Now through Friday May 13th, pet adoption fees will be reduced to $25 for both cats and dogs. Adoptable animals can be viewed on Animal Control’s website, on PetFinder, or on Animal Control’s Facebook page. Event hours are weekdays 10:30am to 3:30pm and Saturdays Noon to 3:30pm. Appointments are preferred, but are not required, and can be scheduled by e-mailing animalcontrol@stclaircounty.org.
