Much of the St. Clair River is under a flood advisory due to an ice jam. According to the National Weather Service, water levels on the river are elevated due to a blockage and minor flooding is expected. Affected areas include locations along the St. Clair River between Marysville and Algonac, including East China and St. Clair. Ice breakers are working to clear the blockage and the flood advisory is in effect until 8:15 am Wednesday.
