The price of a gallon of gas in Michigan jumped over 9 cents this past week, that according to the latest gas price survey by AAA of Michigan. The auto club reports that the current average statewide price is $3.27 a gallon, setting a new 2021 high last week. The lowest prices in the state are in the Benton Arbor and Traverse City area while Flint and Metro Detroit are among the areas with the most expensive fuel. Port Huron area pumps as of this morning are asking approximately $3.27 per gallon.
