Gas prices across the state are down five cents compared to last week. Michigan drivers are now paying an average price of $2.17 per gallon. AAA of Michigan says despite low demand, pump prices are holding steady due to solid crude oil gains. The most expensive gas is in Marquette, Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor while the least expensive gas is in Traverse City, Saginaw and Lansing. Port Huron area pumps are about a penny above the statewide average, asking $2.18 a gallon.
