It’s the final push for fundraising in this year’s Community Roofsit to benefit the Child Abuse and Neglect Council. Q Country 107 WSAQ morning show host Matt Markham has spent this past week living on top of the MI Mutual Mortgage Building, soliciting donations for the CAN council. He’ll come down from the roof this evening and hopefully will be bringing a good chunk of change with him. Over $138-thousand dollars were raised during last year’s roof sit – a new record. Donations to the Community Roofsit fund the CAN Council’s child abuse prevention programs as well as their forensic interviewing of child abuse victims.
