A motorcyclist from East China Township has died following a crash Sunday afternoon in St. Clair Township. Deputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s office responded to a car-motorcycle collision at I-94 and Wadhams Road around 4pm Sunday. A 36 year old Kimball Township woman was driving a SUV on the eastbound I-94 exit ramp when authorities say she failed to yield while making a left hand turn. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Wadhams and collided with the SUV. The victim is identified as a 58 year old East China Township man. His 44 year old wife was also on the bike and both were taken to an area hospital for treatment. She sustained minor injures, while he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in the incident.
