The class of 2020 just might get their time in the spotlight after all… at least at some area school districts. Port Huron Area School District officials say they are working with the local health department to organize outdoor graduation ceremonies this summer. Superintendent Jamie Cain, speaking to WPHM’s Paul Miller yesterday, says the district will honor this year’s graduating class in July. The commencements are planned to take place July 7th, 8th, and 9th at Memorial Stadium for Port Huron Northern, Port Huron High, and Harrison Center graduates. Specific times and details are to follow. Similar outdoor commencement ceremonies are planned for Marysville High School this weekend at Viking Stadium.
