Council to hold a socially-distant meeting tonight

Port Huron will once again be holding a socially distant city council meeting this evening. Council members will hold a public hearing regarding the upcoming fiscal year’s budget. They are also expected to approve a grant request for nearly $70,000 which would be used for the purchase of personal protection equipment. Port Huron City Council could also approve bids for a new skate park at Optimist Park, which was funded by donations and matching grants. Port Huron City Council meets at 7pm tonight at the Municipal Office Center. Participants in the meeting will be spaced apart and will be wearing masks.  The meeting can be also be viewed on the city’s Youtube page and on Comcast Channel 6.
