The number of new coronavirus cases in St. Clair County hasn’t been this low since last March. Only one new COVID-19 case was confirmed in the county Monday, bringing the total number to 385 people who have tested positive. The St. Clair County Health Department is reporting that there are 54 current active cases in the county and recoveries have now exceeded 309.  About 38% of the county’s cases are in individuals 50-69 years of age. The most cases in the county can be found in the City of Port Huron, with city residents accounting for 60 of the county’s cases. Every municipality except Greenwood Township and the Village of Emmett now has at least one confirmed case.

Due to an issue with the state’s reporting software, data for surrounding counties and the state were unavailable Monday afternoon.
