The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the Blue Water area saw only incremental gains over the weekend. Currently in St. Clair County there are 384 total cases and 22 fatalities. That’s up only two new cases with no new deaths reported over the weekend. Sanilac County currently has 37 total cases and five deaths. That’s an increase of two new cases and one new death over the weekend. The number of cases now sits at 171 in Lapeer County with 26 deaths. That’s an increase of one new case and one new death over the past weekend. Statewide, the current number of confirmed cases is at 43,754 and with 4,049 deaths reported as of Sunday afternoon.
