Two additional deaths reported as COVID-19 cases hold steady in St. Clair County

There were no new confirmed positive coronavirus cases in St. Clair County Tuesday. According to the St. Clair County Health Department, the number of COVID-19 cases in the county was flat at 354. Tuesday marked the first day in nearly a month since no new cases were confirmed in the county. Two additional county residents have died, bringing the number of fatalities to 22. There were no changes in the number of cases and fatalities in Sanilac County again Tuesday, with the number of cases holding steady at 34 with 4 confirmed deaths. Lapeer County gained only two new cases Tuesday, now with 166 positive people. The number of deaths was unchanged at 24. Nearly 40,000 Michiganders have contracted COVID-19 with just over 3500 people dying from the virus .
