Port Huron City Council could be taking the next steps tonight to rehab or relocate the central fire station located on River Street near the campus of St. Clair County Community College. The $105,000 dollar agreement with Redstone Architects is to study the possibilities of renovating or relocating the Central Fire Station as well as fire stations number three and four in the City of Port Huron. This comes after the city solicited proposals from nine different architectural firms late last year. Also tonight, council is expected to approve about $7300 dollars in equipment for the wastewater treatment plant as well as adopting goals and priorities for the new fiscal year. Tonight’s Port Huron City Council meeting takes place at 7pm at the Municipal Office Center.
