CPS student could face charges following bomb threat

A 17 year old student at Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School could be facing charges after a threat was discovered at the school yesterday morning. Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies say the threat was discovered around 8am yesterday morning in a boy’s bathroom at the school. Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School was subsequently evacuated yesterday morning. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s department K-9 unit searched the building for explosives, none were found. Students returned to class later yesterday morning . Authorities say the student is accused of making the threat and that they may be seeking charges against the student pending further investigations.
