U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Blue Water Bridge say they made a discovery of human brains in a truck hauling Canadian mail last week. The bulk mail truck, destined for Kenosha, Wisconsin, was referred for an inspection at CBP’s Marysville Examination Station after the truck’s manifest included “Antique Teaching Specimen”. Officials say a package contained a human brain specimen inside of a mason jar but did not have any paperwork or documentation to support its lawful entry into the country.  The specimen is currently in the procession of federal authorities who are working to determine its final disposition.  Border officials say the importation such shipments need to follow the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines and have the proper permits.
