Port Huron and Marysville to hold city council meetings tonight

City Councils in both Port Huron and Marysville will be holding meetings tonight. In Port Huron, council members will receive a presentation from St. Clair County Community College Officials regarding a proposal for Haynes Park, located at Glenwood and 10th Avenues. City Council will also be asked to approve tonight three new vehicles, including two new police cars for $53,000 and a truck for the utilities department for approximately $47,000. In Marysville, city council members there will hold what is expected to be the last meeting in the current city hall building before moving to their new offices over the Thanksgiving holiday. Marysville City Council is expected to approve season pass rates for the Marysville Golf Course and approve the purchase of a new $36,000 SUV. Port Huron City Council meets 7pm at the Municipal Office Center at 100 McMorran Boulevard. Marysville’s council meets at 7:30pm at the 1111 Deleware Avenue city hall.
