Former county commissioner Pat Anger passes

Former Chair of the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners Patricia Anger died over the weekend. Anger, originally from Quebec, moved to Michigan when she was six and has been a resident of the area ever since. She was a graduate of Marysville High School and St. Clair County Community College, and was a life long member of the Girl Scouts. She served on numerous non-profit and governmental boards of over the years, including the Port Huron Chamber of Commerce and the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners. She was elected chairwoman of the county board in 1999 and served in that position until 2006. Pat Anger passed away Saturday after a battle with cancer at the age of 73.
