Traffic control changes, new liquor license to be decided by Port Huron City Council

City Councils in Port Huron and Marysville will meet tonight in regular session meetings. In Port Huron, a public hearing will be held regarding a property at 1214 Lincoln Avenue. The property has received numerous health and safety violations and if deemed a nuisance by council tonight, it could be demolished. A handful of traffic signals int the city could also be formally removed tonight in Port Huron. Those include two lights which are currently flashing at the intersections of Court and 7th and Union and 7th, as well as a traffic signal at Grand River Avenue and Michigan Street which will become a four way stop. City council could also approve a new liquor license for the Family Dollar store located in the 2700 block of Pine Grove Avenue.

In Marysville, council will be asked to approve a bid from Raymond Excavating for nearly $240,00 dollars for water main replacements along Constitution Avenue. Port Huron City Council begins at 7pm tonight, Marysville 7:30.
