Port Huron Police are seeking more information regarding a suspicious incident yesterday morning. According to Lieutenant Roger Wesch of the Port Huron Police Department, an 8-year old girl walking to school around 7:45 am Thursday reported a suspicious man following her. The alleged incident is believed to have occurred near 9th and Beard Streets. Port Huron Police responded to the call and searched the area, finding nobody matching the description. The suspect is described as a white male, about 40 years old with reddish hair. Those who may know the identity of the suspect, or have additional information about the alleged event, are asked to call the CAPTURE tip line at 987-6688.
