The Marysville City Council will meet in a special session meeting this evening to discuss potential action regarding a legalized marijuana ballot proposal that was passed by Michigan Voters this past November. Under the initiative, municipalities are automatically opted-in to allow pot related businesses such as retailers and grow operations unless they choose otherwise to opt-out. Both Marysville City Attorney Gary Fletcher and public service director Tom Konik are expected to make presentations tonight. Tonight’s special session meeting of Marysville City Council will take place at 7:30pm at Marysville City Hall on Delaware Avenue.
