Planning commission asked to approve new gas station

The Port Huron Planning Commission meets tonight where they are expected to take action on a number of items. On tonight’s agenda, commissioners could approve a request from Party Express convenience store for a special use permit to allow a fuel station at their location in the 900 block of Oak Street. The planning commission will also be asked tonight to rezone a property at 923 Oak Street store from residential to commercial. Port Huron’s planning commission meets at 6pm tonight at the Municipal Office Center.
