Four are recovering from a two-vehicle accident in Sanilac County’s Flynn Township. According to Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies, a car driven by a 29 year old woman from Saginaw was traveling northbound on Shepard Road just before noon yesterday when Sheriff’s Deputies say she failed to stop at the West Peck Road intersection. The car, which was also occupied by a 30 year old female passenger from Saginaw, struck a pickup truck in the intersection operated by a 70 year old Greenwood Township man. The driver of the pickup, along with his 71 year old female passenger, received medical attention at the scene by Croswell EMS and were taken to a Port Huron area hospital for additional treatment. The driver and passenger of the car were taken to a Lapeer Area hospital where they are currently recovering. The accident remains under investigation and names are being withheld pending charges.
