Port Huron man injured in early morning stabbing

The Port Huron Police Department is investigating an early morning stabbing that sent one man to the hospital. Lieutenant Jason Barna tells WPHM authorities were called to 1000 block of Chestnut Street near 10th around 2:30am this morning on reports of a disturbance. A bystander reportedly told police that several men were fighting outside. Upon arrival, the Port Huron Police Department found a 30 year old man lying in the street with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment where he is in stable condition. No suspects are currently in custody and investigations are underway.
