Michigan Sate Police are investigating a fire that killed a man in Emmett Township over the weekend. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Lapeer Post confirmed to WPHM the fire is suspicious and that they are working to determine the cause. The blaze broke out in the 5000 block of Welch Road in Emmett Township Sunday Morning. One man and two dogs were found dead in the blaze and the Michigan State Police says additional information will be released once the investigation is complete.
