Incident between two students causes lock-down at Deckerville High

Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an altercation between two Deckerville High School Students that cause the high school to be placed on lock-down briefly yesterday morning. Authorities say a dispute occurred between a 18 and 14 year old student, with the 18 year old leaving school property voluntarily and the 14 year old student needing to be removed by Sheriff’s Deputies. The incident is currently being investigated and authorities say the names of the students and further details are currently being withheld at this time. Authorities add there is no current threat to the safety of students at Deckerville High School.
