Christin Stewart had a triple and two RBI as the Detroit Tigers beat the Kansas City Royals 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers sweep the three game series and have five games in a row. Tyler Ross went seven innings, allowing a run, while striking out eight, to earn his first victory as a Tiger. Detroit opens a three game series against Cleveland on Tuesday afternoon at Comerica Park.
