The run through the NCAA basketball tournament for Michigan State came to an end on Saturday night with a 61-51 loss to Texas Tech in the national semi-finals. Cassius Winston had 16 points, Matt McQuaid 12, and Aaron Henry 11 for the Spartans, who went (32-7) this season, winning the Big Ten regular season title, as well as the Big Ten Tournament, before reaching the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament. Texas Tech will move on to Monday’s Championship game and play Virginia.
