No. 2 Michigan equaled its best start ever with a 79-69 win at Illinois on Thursday night, pushing the Wolverines to (16-0). A balanced Michigan attack saw Zavier Simpson score 16, Ignas Brazdeikis 15, Charles Matthews 14, and Jon Teske 13. The Wolverines will take on Northwestern on Sunday evening in Ann Arbor.
