Flags across Michigan will be at half staff in honor of former President George H.W. Bush who died Friday. Governor Snyder ordered all U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered at homes, businesses, schools, and local and state government offices until December 30th. The Governor said President Bush was a “great person” who served his nation not only in the military and as President, but as a role model for all of us. Snyder said Bush’s commitments to family and country before, during and after his presidency were inspiring.
