St. Clair County Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for more information regarding a known sexual predator. 62 year old James Carlton Reilly was arraigned on criminal sexual conduct charges this week in Marine City District Court. He has also has previously been convicted of criminal sexual conduct dating back to 1989. He was released from prison in 1999. Sheriff’s deputies say Reilly, who also goes by the name “J.C.”, is alleged to have assaulted an 8 year old girl at his Columbus Township home. Reilly had previously lived in the City of Warren. Authorities say it his likely that Reilly has abused other children over the years. Detectives are asking anyone who may have been a victim to contact Detective Kelsey Wade at (810) 987-1738. Reilly is due back in court later this month. He is currently being held without bond at the St. Clair County jail.
