The suspect in several home invasions throughout Sanilac, Huron, and Tuscola Counties has been arrested and charged in a string of breaking and entering. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department says 38 year old Gonzolo Medellin has been charged in connection to the crimes which date back to fall of last year. Deputies broke open the case last month when the suspect was pulled over in a traffic stop, with an amount of drugs and stolen items being found. Further investigations recently have linked him to even more break in’s in the Mayville, Vassar, and Bad Axe areas. He is being housed in the Sanilac County jail.
