The Port Huron Police Department is celebrating the promotions of two of its officers. Sargent Brian Kerrigan and Chris Frazier being promoted this week by the PHPD to the rank of Lieutenant. Frazier was hired into the Port Huron Police Department in 1997, holding several ranks and assignments during his tenure and will be assigned to a night time road patrol platoon. Kerrigan also joined the department in 1997, and will now be assigned to command a day time road patrol platoon. Police Chief Jeff Baker says both are well deserving of the promotion.
