Local political leaders responding to Governor Snyder’s final State of the State address held in Lansing earlier this week. State Senator Phil Pavlov represents the 25th district, and echo’s the Governor’s sentiment about job availabilities in the state. Pavlov  speaking to WPHM’s Paul Miller yesterday says Michigan is approaching full employment, meaning there are more available jobs than people qualified to fill them. The local senator says he looks forward to hearing more about Snyder’s plan. Pavlov also says when it comes to Snyder’s call for increased per-pupil funding, the local senator says he’s glad the state is in a healthy financial position where more investments can be made in education.
