Wings Take Down Carolina

A three goal first period got the Detroit Red Wings off an running on Tuesday, in a 4-2 win over Carolina at Joe Louis Arena.  The Wings have won five in a row after losing their first two games of the season.  Dylan Larkin scored two goals, while Andreas Athanasiou and Thomas Vanek each added a goal apiece.  The Wings travel to St. Louis to play the Blues on Thursday.
