The Detroit Tigers lost 8-3 to the Texas rangers on Sunday, dropping their sixth straight game.  Justin Verlander threw seven shutout innings for the Tigers, allowing just three hits, and striking out nine.  Verlander left the game with a 2-0 lead, but the Tigers’ bullpen allowed seven runs in the eight inning.  Former Tiger Bobby Wilson hit a grand slam for the Rangers in the frame.  Detroit plays in Washington on Monday.
