The Military Street Bridge in Port Huron was closed to traffic for much of Thursday, as work crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation were conducting seasonal tests on the structure.  Turned out the bridge was not operating correctly according to  MDOT Communications Rep Jocelyn Hall. After a few adjustments though the bridge was reopened. Officials are gearing up for the summer boating season with bridge openings becoming more frequent starting next month.
