The Detroit Pistons made their second deal of the week just prior to Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, landing forward Danatas Motiejunas and guard Marcus Thornton from the Houston Rockets for center Joel Anthony and a protected first round draft pick this summer. If the pick is in the top 8 of the draft, Detroit will keep it, but if it falls at nine or worse it will belong to Houston. Detroit returns to action on Friday in Washington.
