Another drug dealer off the streets

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force got more heroin and another drug dealer off the streets Wednesday. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin in the county. The investigation led to a traffic stop on a vehicle on Fred Moore Highway west of King Road in China Township at about noon on Tuesday. During a search of the vehicle, $1100 worth of heroin was located and seized. The driver, a 68 year old Mt. Clemens man was arrested and taken to the St. Clair County Jail. A female passenger in the vehicle was released. The suspect faces charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, maintaining a drug vehicle and being a habitual offender. The Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol and U.S. Border Patrol K9 Unit assisted at the scene.
