Wings Take Down Habs

The Detroit Red Wings scored twice late in the third period to end a seven game losing streak to Montreal on Thursday night, beating the Canadiens 3-2 at Joe Louis Arena.  Darren Helm had two goals including the game winner, while Justin Abdelkader also scored.  The Wings have earned a point in 12 straight games to move to within four points of first place.  Detroit plays at New Jersey on Friday.
