A couple of public meetings of note to start the week off today. The Port Huron Area School District Board of Education holds a special session at 6pm to consider funding recommendations from the "Building Tomorrow, Today" Steering Committee that was presented at the November Board meeting. The board will be debating multimillion dollar proposals to improve schools both in the facilities as well as the programs being used. The 6pm session is set for the regular Board of Education meeting room along Riverside Drive. Meanwhile a light agenda is before Marysville City Council members tonight. The 7:30 pm meeting at city hall sees council members looking at scheduling meetings for next year as well as goal setting sessions. Saint Clair City Council also has a regular meeting this evening with a new millage asking to be reviewed by the board. The St. Clair City Council meeting begins at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Building.
